It is a security box and not a safe so it works as described. I am going to put one in each car so when I go into the Post Office I won''t have to worry abount my pistol not being secured in my vehicle.

Great product. The quality seems very high. The Gun Source shipped it very fast. It fits my S&W Sigma 40 and an extra clip perfectly. The items that are locked in do not move at all. There are also mounting holes in the bottom of the box if you wanted to permanently mount it to something.

They work great, I travel a lot and TSA needs to check to be sure gun is unloaded. So did not want the one with the combo, I can just hand them the key they check hand the key back, no worries. As an added bonus the cable lets me have some amount of security when in a hotel room.
They did have a strong odor when first opened but I left them (bought 2) open for a day and they are fine now.
