The Surefire Mags are by far the best non factory mags for the Saiga rifles. I bought 1 Surefire mag [the only one my dealer had] and 3 similar, cheaper ones by Pro-Mag when I purchased my rifle several years ago. The Pro-Mag magazines have a weak point - a tab at the front top of the mag - and one of them broke on it''s second use. I soon found more of the Surefire mags, and after a couple thousand rounds, they have been completely reliable.
They seem to be made of the same material as the factory mags, while the other brand is softer and prone to grooving and scarring on the aforementioned tab.
